What’s new in 2024
- Nitrous oxide will now be covered for all ages for covered procedures, if medically necessary
- Prefabricated porcelain/ceramic crowns on primary teeth will be covered, limited to one per patient, per tooth, per lifetime for children under 15

Class B and C services out-of-network deductible is $0 for High
1 If your out-of-network dentist charges more than GEHA’s agreed-upon plan allowance for a specific service, you are responsible for the difference between the plan allowance and the out-of-network dentist’s charge plus regular coinsurance.
2 Two sets of bitewing X-rays covered per year for members 22 and under. One set of bitewing X-rays is covered per year for members ages 23+.
3 Implants are limited to $2,500 per person per year in-network or out-of-network on High.

2 This benefit is per person, every 36 months for adults. TruHearing® discount pricing can be combined with the hearing aid benefit for even greater savings.

Good news though! When enrolled in both a GEHA FEHB medical plan with dental coverage and a GEHA FEDVIP dental plan like your High plan, your provider only needs to file one claim. You are one and done, which makes it easy and speeds up claim processing. No further action is required by you or your provider.
