Application for Funding

As a health care organization serving federal employees, military retirees, and their families, GEHA makes a serious commitment to uplifting the communities we serve. We make thoughtful choices in our grantmaking, in-kind giving, and employee volunteer activities. The GEHA Gives Corporate Social Responsibility program focuses on health equity efforts that address racial disparities in health care and the unique needs of military veterans and their families. While preference is given to nonprofit organizations in our home market of Kansas City, Mo, we welcome applicants from throughout the United States that meet our criteria. GEHA does not accept applications for capital campaigns.

For any gifts of $5,000 and above, a mid-year virtual meeting and an annual written grant report will be required. For those receiving a grant below $5,000, an impact story relevant to your nonprofit’s request will be required. All 2023 GEHA Gives grant recipients must submit their one-page report by December 31, 2023, to be eligible for future grant funding.

The 2024 GEHA Gives grant application cycle opens on October 23, 2023, and runs through January 22, 2024. All fields are required.
