Whether for convenience or the need to see a medical professional outside of your doctor's regular business hours, GEHA offers our health plan members a number of convenient choices to access quality health care.
With our telehealth service you can visit with a doctor 24/7 from your home, office or on the go. Telehealth doctors are board certified and are available for non-emergency situations by secure video, phone or via the MDLIVE app to help you with non-emergency care.
To access our telehealth service, call the GEHA Health Advice Line (888.257.4342) and speak with a registered nurse about your symptoms. The nurse will help you determine the most appropriate care – including a consultation with telehealth physician (where allowed by state law). Depending on the circumstance, our nurse may also suggest an at-home treatment or advise you to visit a local clinic or urgent care facility.
Telehealth is available at no cost to GEHA High and Standard Option health plan members. High Deductible Health Plan members will pay the telehealth rate at the time of their call and then submit their receipt to GEHA. GEHA will apply the rate to their deductible or reimburse the member if they have met their deductible.
