Notice of Health Plan Accreditation Survey
G.E.H.A | January 9, 2026
At G.E.H.A, we regularly review our programs and services to make sure they meet national quality standards and support our members’ health needs. One way we do this is by achieving Health Plan accreditation through an OPM-recognized accrediting agency. Accreditation is an independent review process that looks at how G.E.H.A operates and confirms that our policies, procedures, and services follow recognized best practices.
G.E.H.A has voluntarily requested a reaccreditation survey through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). This independent review helps us understand where we are performing well and where we can continue to improve. The survey focuses on making sure we deliver safe, high-quality care and services for our members. It also reviews G.E.H.A’s compliance with AAAHC Standards and helps determine whether our current accreditation status should be maintained.
Members, employees and the general public who believe they have information about the quality of G.E.H.A’s services and/or compliance with AAAHC Standards may share feedback prior to February 9 by contacting G.E.H.A directly at ComplianceOfficer@geha.com.
Information shared by identified individuals before or during the survey will be reviewed as part of the reaccreditation decision. AAAHC does not discuss individual reports with the people who submit them, but every submission is reviewed and considered in the process.
