With GEHA’s High Option or Standard Option combined with Medicare A & B, a sudden hospital stay, a prolonged illness or a major surgical procedure won’t overwhelm your budget.
Highlights when you combine GEHA's High Option or Standard Option with Medicare A & B:
When you have GEHA and Medicare, most of your claims can be filed electronically by GEHA Express. For information on electronic claims filing, call GEHA Express at 800.282.4342.
We waive the deductible and coinsurance if you’re enrolled in Part A.
The combination of a $600 reimbursement for Medicare Part B premiums with a cost-share waiver, makes the High Option the plan of choice for Medicare enrollees.
If you’re enrolled in Medicare Part B, GEHA will waive your copay for in-network office visits, medical and surgery benefits, and mental health/substance abuse care.
For covered prescriptions at participating retail pharmacies or through the CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy, you’ll have a reduced copay and coinsurance if you’re enrolled in GEHA’s High Option plan.
These rates do not apply to all enrollees. If you are in a special enrollment category, please refer to the FEHB Program website or contact the agency or Tribal Employer that maintains your health benefits enrollment.
