The GEHA Maternity Program offers a maternity resource packet to our expectant mothers. This packet includes information on pregnancy and prenatal care as well as information about your maternity benefits.

In addition, if you have special concerns or questions about utilization of your maternity benefits, a GEHA maternity nurse is available to assist you. Call 800.821.6136 and ask for the Care Management Department to reach a Maternity Nurse Consultant.
Breast pump benefits
GEHA's breast-pump contracted provider is Homelink. You can order a breast pump by calling Homelink at 800.482.1993.
GEHA covers at 100% one double-channel electric breast pump with double suction capability with a physician's prescription every two years. You must obtain the breast pump and supplies from Homelink. A new prescription is required when requesting a new/replacement pump. Additional pumps may be obtained from Homelink at the member's expense.
The brands/models that are covered 100% are:
- Medela Pump In Style Advanced (57081)
- Ameda Purely Yours Ultra (17085MT)
- Spectra S2 Hospital Strength (SP06-L1)
GEHA members can upgrade to a different model but will be responsible for the difference in cost.
An initial all-inclusive supply kit is provided with a new pump order. Two supplemental supply kits are allowed in a 12-month period. Supplemental supply kits contain new tubing and canisters. All other requested supplies can be obtained from Homelink at the member's expense. Call 800.482.1993 anytime in the final two months of pregnancy and submit your physician's order. The pump and supplies will be delivered within one to five business days.
